Extensions are community-maintained sources that provide the catalog and chapters. ManhwaRead ships with no sources by default — you choose which to install from the Extensions page, so your reading list is yours. Adding one unlocks its catalog instantly.
What is the difference between manhwa, manhua and manga?
Manhwa are Korean comics (usually full-color vertical webtoons), manhua are Chinese comics, and manga are Japanese comics (usually black-and-white, read right-to-left). ManhwaRead hosts all three.
How often are new chapters added?
New chapters appear as soon as the community translators behind each extension release them — often daily. Add a series to your library to keep track of its latest updates.
